The Client

The China Dialogue Trust are a small organisation who work hard at their mission of promoting a common understanding of China’s urgent environmental challenges. They run a number of websites that provide news and information on these important topics.

The Project

One of the websites that the China Dialogue Trust runs needed an overhaul, mostly to make it mobile friendly and easier for people to read. They had some quite specific requirements and wanted a certain amount of flexibility, but all at very low cost.

I worked with them to establish a new layout and to refresh the design and make it mobile-friendly. I put in place a page builder and set of widgets that they could use to update the site themselves, and left them with some video training on how to update the site themselves.

The Result

Delivered for a low budget, this refresh wasn't a huge or complex piece of work, and it's mostly using off-the-shelf tools to get good value for money. But the site is vastly improved and will serve the Trust well for the medium-term future.
