St John’s Hoxton is a modern, vibrant and both forward- and outward-looking church in London. I’ve not been there, but my impression from working with them is that they are doing great things in their community and I was proud to be referred to them and that I was able to support them in building a modern website.
The job was a relatively simple website redesign. The church wanted a more modern and mobile-friendly web presence.
I helped them document their needs and structure the site. I provided wireframes for the design which were fleshed out by working with excellent visual designer Chris Donald. Plenty of technical help and advice was offered as we went along too.
The site was built in WordPress, and some basic training, hosting and the go-live was all taken care of.
This is one of my favourite WordPress website builds. This is partly due to the great design (thanks Chris!) but also due to the way it is beautifully responsive.
I’ve provided the church with flexible layout options that enable re-use of the sections from the homepage while maintaining the integrity of the design – for anyone who’s wondering, this is not using an off-the-shelf page builder!
The project was delivered for a very reasonable budget, and the client is really happy. I hope that the site gives them many years of good use.
